Digging a proper hole for the
pond
will determine the way the pond will look.
It is essential
not to just dig a hole but to give it form and proper shelving. |
|
 |
| |
Once we have dug the hole we
place
the biofalls and skimmers in place
along with the proper
hoses. |
|
 |
| |
The skimmers and biofalls are
leveled and backfilled to keep it in place. The backfilling
must be done with great care as the biofalls and skimmers
must stay leveled in order for them not to leak from the
sides later on. |

| |
The first layer is the underlayment or protective covering
which is key in preventing the liner from getting holes
once the rocks are laid in place. |
|
 |
| |
The liner is placed on top of the underlayment and the rocking
begins!
The rocks are placed strategically to acquire a
natural look, while covering
all of the liner. |
|
 |
| |
The pond is then filled with water to
the water level. |
